The Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital Pediatric Emergency Care Guide (JWCH Emerg) app allows users to access an interactive version of the Geisinger, Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, Pediatric Emergency and Trauma Care Guide. Used during the assessment and treatment of pediatric emergencies, this guide includes Pediatric Trauma Assessment, Resuscitation Guidelines, Emergency Medications, and approaches to common medical emergencies. By entering the patient's Age, Weight, and/or Height in the app, medication dosages and equipment sizes can be rapidly accessed.
