Gone are the days when you had to lug out your laptop/notebook or that ever-deteriorating paperback to scribble down your musical genius. Ideal for guitarist, lyricists and pure song writers, Song Scrapbook provides important tools needed when drafting a new song. There is no other mobile song writer that can compare to Song Scrapbook. All you need is a decently sized mobile Android device or phablet with Song Scrapbook installed and you are covered for all future moments of musical inspiration. Conceptualized by a guitarist Song Scrapbook was designed to capture only the important aspects of song writing. Using Song Scrapbook a song writer will be able to capture everything from the structure and chords of a new song - right down to the lyrics. Song Scrapbook even takes it a step further allowing a song writer to record a 2-minute audio sample (i.e. to capture the melody of the new song) for future reference. This ensures that a song writer captures all the important parts of a new song in that brief ever-fleeting moment of musical genius and then carries on later (when time allows it) right from where he/she left off. =========================================================== *** 5 STEP Procedure for capturing a new song in Song Scrapbook *** 1. Title - create a song title for the new song. 2. Song structure - define the structure of the song (e.g. how many verses and choruses it has). 3. Song chords - define the chord sequence for the different parts of the song (invaluable for guitarists). 4. Song lyrics - define the lyrics for the various parts of the song. 5. Audio guide - record an audio sample for future reference (i.e. a melody guide that will help get those creative cogs-and-wheels moving again after a prolonged period of absence). =========================================================== The 5-step process outlined above is merely a guide for capturing a new song. When in a rush, most of the steps (except STEP 1) may be skipped to be worked on later when the time allowed is less hostile towards your creative endeavors - but it is recommended to capture as much as possible during that initial moment of musical enlightenment to ensure you have a much clearer reference point when coming back to work on the song at a later stage.
