The Extra version includes: Transposition - useful for any brass or sax player, or anyone trying to communicate with the horn section of a band. Ideal for Trumpet, Cornet, Horn, Clarinet and Saxophone players to check how their notes will sound. Note names and concert pitches at the touch of a button. C-clefs - ideal for Viola players (Alto clef), and cellists/trombonists starting to learn Tenor clef. Note names at the touch of a button, and, of course, the sound of each note. Temperament choice - choose equal temperament, or pure major/minor. The app also remembers 25 recent notes. The recent notes screen can mix clefs and keysignatures to check out those sticky moments where the music changes from one to another. Plus all standard features: *13 key signatures *common tunings (A440, 442, 443) plus Baroque and Old high pitch ** NEW: choice of 2 sounds ** NEW: remember favorite clef You don't need a piano to check your notes any more.
