The Operation and Agriculture Supply Information System (OASIS) Mobile Edition is the Android mobile app that works with the Standard Edition's Web application. The farmer or field scout can collect and manage their farming data on a smart phone. As part of the Standard Edition, the mobile app synchronizes with the Web application to ensure that all records are current and accurate. The farmer can still enter new records and view existing records without a network connection. Core functionality is focused on job tasks that are relevant to working in the field, such as chemical application and plant sampling. The included private messaging feature enables the field worker to communicate with team members. With a list of vendors and partners, the farmer has quick access to telephone numbers to make a call. Data entry forms are optimized for the small screen and include data validation to ensure that user input is correct. 1. Added two additional data fields in water usage. The system was initially designed to calculate water volume automatically. This version allows the end user to override system calculation by entering water volume manually. 2. Additional second level of data integrity checks to ensure that farm plot, measurement station, and monitoring report identifiers are unique.
