>> Currently only available in Denmark << FieldSense is a tool for farmers and plant consultants that makes it easy to identify and monitor health problems in crops using satellite technologies. With FieldSense, farmers are one step closer to the future of precision farming. Locate crops with poor health and make more well-informed decisions regarding the use of fertilisers, pesticides and other plant additives, increasing the efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of farming. How does it work? In order for plants to grow, light is needed. By looking at the ability of plants to absorb and reflect sunlight, we are able to assess the plants' ability to perform photosynthesis with high accuracy. The plants' ability to perform photosynthesis is then illustrated graphically with a color scheme on cadastral maps in the application. The dark/brown colours indicate that the plants are performing a low amount of photosynthesis; the light/green colours indicate the opposite. The maps are stored historically, giving you the opportunity to watch and compare your crops in previous seasons. Add your fields in the application or on the future web-portal and share the health maps with your colleagues and plant consultants. For the time being, FieldSense offers satellite images with a frequency of 14 days; however, in the years to come, we will be able to offer satellite images much more frequently and of higher quality.
